Saltwater Mornings is inspired by early morning walks in St Ives. Before the crowds arrive - when the coastline feels calm and open, and the day begins with that soft, unmistakable light. There’s a quiet clarity to the harbour at this hour - still water and muted tones. This piece captures that moment when everything feels steady, spacious and full of breath.
The painting blends soft coastal neutrals with chalky whites, warm sandy hues and a distinctive St Ives blue. Deep charcoal adds contrast, while muted orange hints at harbour markers catching the first light. These tones work beautifully in relaxed, modern interiors, bringing a gentle coastal freshness to living rooms, bedrooms or workspaces without feeling overtly seaside-themed.

I aim to despatch all original artwork within 5 working days.
If framing (or re-framing) is required, please allow 14 days for despatch as all framing is bespoke made to order.
Email notifications will be sent to advise of estimated timescales once order has been received/processed and tracking details sent once despatched.
All original artworks are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and layers of protective packaging before being boxed and labelled 'Fragile'. Due to my commitement to minimise environmental impact, please note some of the packaging used may be recycled/upcycled materials.
Each original artwork is sent with a certificate of authenticity.

Every piece of artwork is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives with you in pristine condition.
However, very occasionally, damages may occur in transit. In this unlikely event, please contact me with 24hours with details/photograph of any damage or quality issues and I will arrange a replacement or refund.
